Soil Born Farms’ Grow Your Groceries is a beginning farmer training program designed to provide
knowledge and hands-on experience to the aspiring urban grower. Our instructors are experienced
masters of organic agriculture and experts in farm entrepreneurship.

Through this course, you’ll take classes on sustainable
horticultural practices to maximize small growing
areas, as well as the business and logistical topics
needed to start a growing operation. You’ll also have
the opportunity to learn first-hand from local organic
farmers, on monthly educational farm visits to area
farms, and during the field hours working alongside
the farmers at Soil Born Farms.
