New Land Listing in Nevada County!

Six acres for lease in Penn Valley. We have approximately one acre of tress (120 ) and five acres of gently gently sloped, south facing, very rich soil with approx 60# pressure. All trees are on drip system. Also have 8N Ford tractor with some tilling attachments that can be used by tenant. This is an end of year crop. The oil production starts in November. Vegetables and fruit through summer, olives to follow in November. Potential opportunity to trade land lease for the management of olive tree orchard.

Many of you participated in the discussion last fall about how to keep your operation going when unexpected events happen. This is a workshop to help you strategize and develop a plan and get ideas from your peers. It is part of the Farm Business Planning course, but is open to other producers as well.

You will want to attend this meeting because PNSSNS is going out on its own as a Watershed Coalition, and that will affect you as a producer.
If you are a commercial farmer or rancher (you sell your crops/products), you need to belong to the Watershed Coalition. Please come and find out what is happening and voice your opinion.
