Operational Continuity: planning for the unexpected in your operation

Many of you participated in the discussion last fall about how to keep your operation going when unexpected events happen. This is a workshop to help you strategize and develop a plan and get ideas from your peers. It is part of the Farm Business Planning course, but is open to other producers as well.

You will want to attend this meeting because PNSSNS is going out on its own as a Watershed Coalition, and that will affect you as a producer.
If you are a commercial farmer or rancher (you sell your crops/products), you need to belong to the Watershed Coalition. Please come and find out what is happening and voice your opinion.

FDA–approved Food Safety Workshop – save the date!
For those who need to be Food Safety-certified by FDA => those of you who primarily sell wholesale or earn $500,000 or more from sales of produce.
March 22, 8 AM to 5 PM, Loomis Vet Hall. $20 per person
The workshop is being done by an organization called AgSafe, under contract to CDFA, but the registration is not up on their website (http://www.agsafe.org )yet.

Beginning Farming Academy
April 6, 8 AM to 8 PM and April 7, 8 AM to 8 PM, $75 per person
